BikeVon: is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by Yvonne Rucker a dedicated cyclist in the Metro Detroit area. BikeVon was created as a tool to promote awareness, affordability and accessibility to cycling to the youth of color in Metro Detroit. http://www.bikevon.org/


The International Velodrome at Bloomer Park (IVBP):The IVBP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with all monies administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester through the Mike Walden Velodrome Fund. The IVBP was paid for by private donations, built by volunteers from the cycling community, was given to the city of Rochester Hills, and is operated daily throughout the summer by a crew of dedicated volunteers. The International Velodrome at Bloomer Park (IVBP) is located in Bloomer Park in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and is the only bicycle racing track of its kind in North America. The IVBP is an outdoor, 1/8 mile / 200 M oval with banking from 13 degrees to 44 degrees. There are classes or programs or racing every day during the summer season and open riding whenever the track is dry.  http://www.ivbp.org/


PEAC: Programs To Educate All Cyclists. PEAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Ypsilanti, Michigan and our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities through cycling, active transportation, and self-advocacy education. We believe that biking and alternative modes of transportation play a critical role in increasing community access, fostering social involvement & self-esteem, and promoting healthy lifestyles among individuals with disabilities.  http://www.bikeprogram.org/


Variety Club: Bikes are most often an integral part of our youth, but for some kids in our community, the prospect of owning a bike is only a dream. For the past 12 years, through the generosity of its supporters, Variety has made that dream a reality for these wonderful and deserving children, providing bikes to hundreds of needy kids, as well as specially-adapted bikes for special needs children. http://variety-detroit.com/programs/bikes-for-kids/


League of Michigan Bicyclists (LMB): LMB is a full time bicycle advocacy group of professionals looking out for bicycling interests, keeping the roads open to bicyclists and working to establish a more informed government and public. They work towards:

·         Improved facilities (such as bicycle lanes and paved shoulders)

·         Acceptance of responsible bicyclists as legitimate road users

·         Education of bicyclists and motorists

·         Representation of bicycling issues within all levels of government
